I am Anna, an elegant slavic lady, who have been living on the shores of Ontario Lake for 20 years, a holder of a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Post-Graduate Certificate with Honours in Regulatory Affairs, a proud mother of a beautiful daughter. I conduct a team of like-minded people in a large international medical device company (I am in the middle of negotiation with a Marketing Department of a company I am working for how I can reference them in the media). I am also a passionate volunteer mentor at WSTEM TO helping young women leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics to re-discover themselves and to boost their careers #WSTEM TO.
I have started my career back home as a Research Scientist, became an author of 6 scientific publications and one invention. Then, the wind of change brought me to Canada.I landed here as a professional immigrant with minimum money and no connections but with enthusiasm and courage to succeed in a new country. Over the years, I have found myself to be an energetic, career-minded, dynamic professional woman with a commitment to outstanding performance, which I continue to demonstrate in both my education and employment experiences.
Hobbies and activities. Thanks to my explorative drive, I have travelled the world visiting Asia, America, Africa, and Europe. I love the sounds of Brazilian jazz and the enchanting arias of classical operas. Captivated by the masterpieces of world cinematography. Keen on horse-riding and walking in the forest, swimming and Latin dancing. Inspired by growing plants at home and in the garden, I enjoy the flowering of delicate orchids. Fond of experimenting in the kitchen. I prepare exquisite dishes of European cuisine.
The TCP Canada’s mission to inspire personal growth and positivity among women have strongly motivated me to join the contest. I am going to use this opportunity to explore the creative, artistic side of myself at the same time contributing to the local women’s communities’ development making meaningful connections. At this stage of life being 55+ and fabulous, I know I have charisma and an inspiration to be a role model for younger women to help them succeeding in their careers and personally, continue to be naturally beautiful at any age.
Let me express the sincere gratitude to the organizers of this wonderful event, especially Olena Talapa and Olena Bilko who motivated me to take the part in the competition. I am wishing all the success to the first TCP Canadian pageant!
